Reading, UK - 7th October 2009: FISCAL Technologies, provider of world- class accounts payable audit software, held its Annual User Group Conference in the UK this week.

FISCAL, which has grown by more than 50% this financial year, puts a strong emphasis on customer service and on supporting the needs of its accounts payable user base. This year the conference, which welcomed even more delegates than the previous year, focused on minimising supplier fraud, creating cost efficiencies and improving internal controls within Accounts Payable. Delegates, who were senior accounts payable managers from UK local authorities, health and housing trusts and large UK companies, said the mix of information on industry trends and new products was excellent.

The User Group Conference is not only an opportunity for customers to find out about new and upcoming products and services – delegates were the first people to see the new AP Forensics® suite, launched this week – but also provides a rare forum for delegates to share best practise and to network with other accounts payable managers. Guest speakers included: Peter Goldmann, expert in the prevention and detection of fraud in accounts payable, president of White-Collar Crime 101 and author of a number of books on the prevention of fraud; and Sid Vasili, expert in the field of accounts payable process improvement and CEO of Invapay, which provides corporate settlement solutions.
