FISCAL Technologies presented with official Queen's Award by Lord Lieutenant

Press Release | 04th July 2016

Reading, UK – 4th July 2016: FISCAL Technologies, the Berkshire-based world-leading provider of accounts payable forensic software, today celebrated the official presentation of its Queen’s Award for Enterprise from her Majesty’s official representative.

The award was formally presented to the company by Mr James Puxley, the Lord Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, during a ceremony at FISCAL’s new offices in Reading, Berkshire.

The Queen’s Award is the UK's most prestigious business accolade and is open to businesses which have shown outstanding achievement in innovation, evidence of international trade and sustainable development.

FISCAL Technologies was selected in April for its innovative cloud-based AP Forensics® suite that empowers finance professionals across the globe to detect fraud, high-risk suppliers and payment hazards in the financial supply chain through continuous monitoring. They can then identify areas of concern to enable them to improve their business processes.

During the visit, the Lord Lieutenant was given a tour of the office, where he was introduced to employees working in the technology, sales and customer success departments.

FISCAL Chief Executive David Griffiths said:

“We are incredibly proud to formally receive the Queen’s Award today from the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire. This is a tremendous achievement for us, as we have grown rapidly from modest means into a global software company. We have achieved this by assembling a talented team of motivated professionals that truly care about our customers and put their needs at the heart of everything we do. The Queen’s Award is a culmination of the team’s dedicated hard work, and determination.”

Howard Durdle, Chief Technology Officer commented:

“We are honoured to be recognised for our dedication to continuous innovation over the last 5 years. Our technology has been developed by building a first-class in-house development team that is agile and truly listens to the customer. But it is also the result of a shared commitment and vision across our entire business to build a world-beating software solution.  I hope our award will inspire others who start small to pursue their vision.”

Mr Griffiths and Mr Durdle will attend a function for winners of the Queen’s Award at Buckingham Palace next week where the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will be in attendance.
