Surrey County Council’s Payment Team is part of the Council’s Business Operations, where approximately half a million payments are made annually. Previously they employed a complex system of manual controls and used the standard checks provided by their SAP ERP system, whilst also carrying out quarterly National Fraud Initiative reporting and using an external recovery auditor to identify payment errors retrospectively.

Since implementing AP Forensics® in October 2011, the team has fully integrated the software into an upgraded P2P process and garnered several awards for their dedication to continual process improvement and commitment to achieving excellence in key performance areas
